The Newmarket Farmers Market has a new home. This Saturday on January 15th is the opening of the market at Carpenter's Olde English Greenhouse from 9 to 1. Shop at this new location down the hill from The Stone Church and across the street from the Newmarket High School on 220 South Main Street.
Check out the new venue where Red Rover Coffee will be offering hot cups of joe and beans by the pound.
The Soup Guy will be presenting warm winter soups such as Sweet Corn Chowder and Malaysian Carrot & Sweet Potato Soup, and Sweet Melissa's Kitchen will be debuting a multi grain three seed bread (poppy, sesame and sunflower), and ciabatta, beer bread, raisin bread and English muffin bread.
The market is in the second season of the winter markets held monthly on the third Saturday of the month. The market vendor selection includes local, fresh foods on offer for meals throughout the month.
